Volunteer Loyalty Program

We appreciate every hour that a volunteer gives to the Lend a Hand Program, and to say “thank you” we offer benefits to our volunteers through our loyalty program.  There are four levels, based on the amount of hours that a volunteer gives to the Blood and Tissue Center. As you reach each level, you are eligible for gift certificates to H.E.B, www.amazon.com, or as a gift back to the Blood and Tissue Center to help save even more lives in Central Texas.

To participate in the loyalty program, every volunteer must have completed an application, all necessary training, and engaged in volunteer service to the Blood and Tissue Center. As volunteer hours increase, so do the rewards to the volunteer -- not only in the knowledge that their valuable volunteer work is saving lives, but also in the eligibility to receive recognition certificates.

It’s simple. There are four levels, based on the amount of hours a volunteer provides to the Center.

H.E.B.    www.amazon.com   The Blood and Tissue Center Giving Back Certificate

Volunteers will receive their gift certificate at the end of one year of service.   This gift certificate will be in the amount of the Level reached at that time ($25, $50, $75, or $100). There will not be a certificate in other denominations (for example, a volunteer giving 36 hours of service will be eligible for the Level 1 certificate for $25 only, not a certificate for $36).

Certificates will be provided to the volunteer at the 1-year anniversary of his or her first volunteer hour given to The Blood and Tissue Center.   If a volunteer is terminated for any reason, eligibility in the loyalty program is forfeited.
